Wellness Exams

Vaccinations
Protecting your pet starts with proper immunization. We provide vaccinations for puppies, kittens, and adult boosters tailored to your pet's age and lifestyle. We also issue rabies certificates for licensing, prescribe monthly parasite preventatives, and conduct bi-annual parasite testing to ensure complete protection year-round.
Preventative Care
Prevention is always better than treatment. Our Junior Wellness Panels are designed for pets under six years, while Senior Wellness Panels address the changing needs of pets over seven years old. We also offer weight management programs because maintaining a pet at his or her ideal body weight can improve life expectancy by up to 20%. Catching problems early makes all the difference.
Dental Care
More than 85% of dogs and cats over four years of age suffer from periodontal disease. Our comprehensive dental services include routine cleaning, polishing, tooth extractions, digital radiography, and oral surgery. We also carry home care products so you can keep your pet's teeth healthy between visits. A healthy mouth means a healthier, happier pet overall.
Surgery
Surgeries are performed every day at Critter Fixer. Elective surgeries are preferred Monday through Saturday, with check-in between 7 and 9 AM. Pre-operative lab work includes kidney and liver function tests, a complete blood count, and glucose levels. During every procedure, patients are monitored with EKG and pulse oximetry, and we administer IV fluids and pain medications to ensure your pet's comfort and safety.
Diagnostic Imaging
Critter Fixer Veterinary Hospital is proud and excited to offer the latest in x-ray technology with digital radiology. We are the only clinic in the Bonaire and Warner Robins area offering this advanced capability. Digital images are available instantly, and we can email x-rays directly to veterinary specialists for consultation, giving your pet faster, more accurate diagnoses.
Diagnostic Lab Testing
We pride ourselves in having the best laboratory and diagnostic facilities in the veterinary industry. Our in-house lab handles cytology, blood work, urinalyses, and fecal examinations, delivering results quickly so treatment can begin without delay. Rapid and reliable diagnostics are critical to getting your pet on the path to recovery.
Laser Therapy
Laser therapy offers a sterile, pain-free, surgery-free, drug-free treatment for a wide range of conditions. Microchipping

As a special benefit, Critter Fixer waives the registration fees for all clients, making it easier than ever to protect your companion.
Nutritional Counseling
One of the biggest problems we see is with proper nutrition. What your pet eats has a direct impact on their energy, coat quality, and longevity. We offer ongoing monthly counseling sessions with trained nutritional counselors to develop and refine a diet plan that fits your pet's unique needs. Pharmacy
We offer an on-site pharmacy that can fill your prescriptions while you wait. Having medications available immediately after your visit means your pet can begin treatment right away. For special orders, we can typically have medications ready within a day or two. We also provide an online pharmacy through Vets First Choice for convenient home delivery.
Emergency Care
When emergencies happen after hours, your pet still deserves immediate attention. After-hours emergencies are referred to the Middle Georgia Veterinary Emergency Center, available around the clock to provide urgent care when we are not open.
