Critter Fixer Veterinary Hospital opened its doors in 1999 in a modest 1,000-square-foot leasehold on Highway 96 in Bonaire, Georgia. Founded by two Tuskegee University graduates with a shared passion for animal care, the hospital was built on a simple promise: treat every pet like family.
Word spread quickly through Houston County. Pet owners recognized something different about Critter Fixer: the warmth of the staff, the thoroughness of the exams, the way the doctors remembered every patient by name. Before long, that small clinic on Highway 96 could barely keep up with demand.
Today, Critter Fixer has grown into a 7,000-plus-square-foot state-of-the-art veterinary facility, treating over 20,000 patients. The hospital now stands as one of the busiest veterinary practices in Houston County, yet the founding philosophy remains unchanged. Every pet that walks through the door receives the same individual attention and genuine care that built the hospital's reputation from day one.
